My Life

I am walking down the park side road,
The trees above shed their leaves on me.
I think about the days I left behind.
Fancying, how I drew my life to be!

The evening is setting in, the distant horizons’ red
Is fading away with the setting of the sun.
The last rays show my path towards home,
The little stars sharing theirs with the crescent moon.

The water of the spring sparkles with glee,
Painting the ripples to welcome the winter.
I stand alone by the bank, only to see,
My faint reflection and the legs that shiver.

I wasted away my time thinking of unreality.
Time flied by its nature as the bob, which even today, swings.
I kept lazy, destroying myself to the black spell of uncertainty.
When I blackened with nicotine my two red lungs.

I want to start my life again like a normal human being.
Since I have realized what I have done.
But the time flew away as that little pendulum swung.
Life came to a complete darkness with the setting of the sun.
